12/25/2023 0 Comments Look deeper into peoples eyesIn other words, when you and your partner share a loving look, you don't just feel more in sync- your brains are literally syncing up their firing. "Based on the enhancement of behavioral and neural synchronization during mutual gaze, we now know that shared attention is hard to establish without eye contact," Norihiro Sadato, senior study author, told Psych Central. The findings suggest that mutual eye contact binds two people into a "singular connected system," the authors write. They found that people synchronized their blinking and fired up their right inferior front gyrus once they'd established eye contact. The researchers (who, it should be noted, were examining what's going on in the brain during normal face-to-face eye contact-the kind you grant your manager when she's talking to you, and less the deep getting-lost-in-your-partner's-eyes) paired up 96 strangers and had them maintain eye contact under various conditions while MRIs examined their brain activity. How can eye contact create that kind of intimacy? A Japanese study published in the journal Neuroimage provides a clue be "When I look at you really closely, I realize how much I need you and what you mean to me, because that's the truth," a man said to his wife of 55 years afterward. Self-awareness comes in different flavors - you. Inspired by the article, YouTube's SoulPancake recruited six pairs (married couples, newly dating, strangers) to try the stare-off. Direct eye contact increases self-awareness - in a similar way to when you look at your own reflection in a mirror. You will see that you are just two peaces of a. And by looking into your soulmate’s eyes, you will recognize him for who he is as well and see the signs you are meant to be together forever. The best way to connect with your soulmate is through the eyes. They invited the entire lab to the ceremony." Catron tried the whole thing out with her crush, complete with four minutes of intense eye contact on a bridge at midnight, and-spoiler alert-the two fell head-over-heels for each other. Soulmate’s eyes can look right through yours and recognize you for who you really are. The most tantalizing detail: Six months later, two participants were married. Then they stare silently into each other's eyes for four minutes. "They sit face to face and answer a series of increasingly personal questions. And your hunch may have been reinforced by a widely read Modern Love column from Mandy Len Catron, who replicated a 20-year-old experiment from psychologist Arthur Aron: "A heterosexual man and woman enter the lab through separate doors," she wrote. Youd feel like youd want to kiss them on the spot and cuddle under the blankets. Im sure that if you got the chance to look into your crushes eyes, youd feel amazing and excited. You've probably heard that staring into someone's eyes can make you fall in love. When someone stares into your eyes, the heavens themselves have been focused on your passionate eye contact.

After that, I'll have some fire to maybe complete my more complex ones. For me, it's so much easier to work on someone else's idea than fulfilling my own overly-ambitious concepts. If it is something simple, but satisfying, I should be able to do it. You can write a request in the comments here. I know I've asked for requests dozens of times, but yes, any fresh, simple ones might restart the factory. I think that perhaps you could think of something simpler for me to draw. I've been overwhelmed with the complexity of the last few projects I've been trying to complete for the heart fetish interest. I've been trying to fire up the heartbeat fetish factory inside myself, but so far it isn't budging. Thank you to all who still pay attention. Soon, I'll have a real apartment, but now I have a private dorm for the time being. I have been totally out of the loop while moving to a new country, being homeless, interviewing everywhere, and then finally landing a job. Thanks for your support over these long years! I tried my best to make it worth your wait. Please contact me for anything you'd like to see in 3D! It's an exciting new world for heart artworks! I can't promise to reply to everything, but if enough people want it, I will probably make it! Let me know how much you demand cartoony hearts for these new 3D works!ĥ. For Heart Maid Mansion, it would be pretty easy switch out the anatomical heart for the cartoon one, but there'd be no gag. This is something I'm considering for another product. I thought it was very pleasing, but many of the requests I have for cartoon hearts involves the heart-gag-beating-out-of-chest sort of thing. Early on, in testing, I was using a cartoon heart. If too many people are annoyed by it, I guess I'll make an option to cut them out, but it's a lot of trouble to make that option.Ĥ. For people who really want to hear that, they can steth the stomach directly. I tried to make them separated from the heart sounds and I think it's quite realistic that way. This particular work includes stomach sounds. Just modeling, animating, and coding the heart alone went through 18 tediously created versions.ģ. You can't imagine how many different versions of this I've been making. This was the first one so of course it was the most difficult. I'm very excited about making more 3D heart artworks like this. Does anyone want Heartbeat games for mobile? Or is it a privacy worry? There's a lot to learn for releasing to mobile, but I will consider it if enough people want it.Ģ. Please enjoy a little video preview of the things you can do in Heart Maid Mansion: Uploaded to Youtube here:ġ. Thank you.I found a few easy ways to increase the realism of the heartbeat in Heart Maid Mansion even more this morning. The stiffness and transmission of movement to the ski is perfect for my ability level, which is probably upper intermediate. I am a 41 year old skier and expect these boots to see me through the end of my skiing career. On my first trip with these boots, I spent the first three days working out the proper buckle adjustments. That’s a really critical process with these boots. Once I found the right settings (on the fourth day), they were as close to actually being comfortable as a ski boot can get. I found that the buckles did not need to be torqued down at all - the natural fit of the boot made it snug all around without me having to use the buckles to pull them tight. In fact, if anything, the custom form fitting of these boots discourages you from cranking the buckles down, because it puts too much pressure on your foot - there''s simply not that much play inside the boot. My feet are wide in the toes, and I have a slightly high arch. That has always been a problem for me in ski boots. But Salomon boots have a nice wide toe box, and this particular pair has enough fine adjustment ability to get a comfortable fit, even over the tops of my feet where I usually have problems. The boots are nice and stiff, so they give you good response and control of the skis. On really cold days, I could do with a little more insulation than these boots provide, but it is at least adequate.Salomon’s new S/Pro 120 has been my go-to ski boot this season, and it’s been a blast to say the least. I’ve skied the S/Pro with several different skis and in a variety of snow conditions over the 30-something days I’ve spent on the mountain this year. From deep powder on my 120 mm-waist skis to ripping groomers on my narrower all-mountain sticks, I’ve sampled a bit of everything in my S/Pro ski boots. Product Overview The 2020 Salomon S/Pro 120. Image courtesy of Salomon.īefore we get too far into how the S/Pro performs, let’s talk about how Salomon arrived at their current design of the S/Pro. To start, Salomon assessed the best features of their popular X/Pro boot. The custom shell, liner design, and buckle arrangement were adapted to the wider S/Pro design. Next, Salomon scanned the feet of over 5,000 skiers across Europe and North America. The accumulated design based on these scans is meant to accommodate a wide variety of foot shapes. Top Scores Closure System 4.0, Forward Flex 3.9, Skiing Comfort 3.In fact, Salomon boasts that this boot will fit 70% of Western populations, with only slight modifications required. Wax found it “highly sensitive, without the onerous fit of a race boot.” Con Cuff rises high on leg. “This one could put us out of business,” joked master bootfitter Denis. The 3-D instep buckle does a great job of personalizing fit, and the liner earned high marks for comfort. Like the Falcon/Scarlet, the XWave/Rush shell is softened on the lateral (outside) wall in a way that makes it less precise, so the inside ski feathers more easily. Those who are a little more laid back favored the ゚ber-comfy XWave/Rush, feeling the tradeoff in power was acceptable. Testers who are fit and aggressive liked the Falcon’s hair-trigger response and vacuum-packed fit. Pro Chocolate or vanilla? The Falcon/Scarlet (see above) and the XWave/Rush finished with similarly high scores the choice is a matter of taste. Heading out the door? An accompanying music video premiered on MTV2 in January 2013, reflecting on Mill's career journey up to this point. In the United States, the song reached the top spot of the Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In 2019, Pitchfork listed the song as the 92nd best of the 2010s. Some highlighted his storytelling, while a few critics complimented the switch between the two parts. "Dreams and Nightmares" received universal acclaim from music critics, who lauded the strength of Mill's rapping. In the lyrics of the song, he juxtaposes his eventual success with his rise from the bottom in Philadelphia. Mill raps his verses uninterrupted, moving from a light tone in the dreams part to a loud delivery for the nightmares side. A hip hop number with maximalist and grime elements, the resulting song contains piano in the two parts and moves between them with the beat switch. After rapping his first part, Mill requested a beat switch and finished writing the second verse once it was added. It was recorded at the Ocean Sky Hotel in Miami during the late sessions for the album in September 2012. The song's production was handled by Tone the Beat Bully, who served as a co-writer with Mill, Maurice Jordan, and Mack Maine. " Dreams and Nightmares" is a song by American rapper Meek Mill, released as the opening track of his debut studio album of the same name (2012). Kids like my son who were 11 got to watch as Meek grew into an extremely impactful person who with huge support from the likes of Jay-Z, former Sixers minority owner Michael Rubin, and even Robert Kraft. Meek Mill becoming one of the faces of criminal Justice reform was not something I think he or anyone would have seen in 2012, but the importance of it is no less impactful. That includes high-profile relationships and beefs, but most importantly, his battles with the criminal Justice system. Meek Mill the man has been on an almost separate journey in the 10 years since his debut release. While there are a lot of Dreams and Nightmares still in Meek’s music, the evolution to him now is evident, the core of his being is visible on this record still. 2” are more stories reported from what Meek had recently been able to leave behind. Songs like “Amen” featuring Drake and “Maybach Curtains” with Nas and John Legend are celebrations of his new success, while songs like “Tony Story Pt. The album, now 10 years old, definitely feels like a reflection of a young man dealing with newfound fame and fortune that is still just removed from a life of extreme hardships. If you put “Dreams and Nightmares” on at any bar in the city, folks will sing the lyrics at the top of their lungs. The song itself has become a Philly classic along the lines of “Summertime” by the Fresh Prince and “What We Do” by Freeway as songs that everyone in the city knows by heart. In the ten years since it’s release, Meek, the song, and album have all taken on much deeper meanings in the culture. On February 4th of 2018, as the Philadelphia Eagles warmed up on the field in Minnesota for the Super Bowl, they rallied around what became their team’s anthem, the intro to Meek Mill’s seminal album Dreams and Nightmares. 12/25/2023 0 Comments Remove get windows 10 nagIn addition to his extensive writing experience, Chris has been interviewed as a technology expert on TV news and radio shows.
